ReSound Nexia 961 RIE is ReSound's flagship non-rechargeable Receiver-in-Ear (RIE) hearing aid, designed for users who prefer the convenience of replaceable batteries while enjoying premium hearing technology. Built on the advanced Nexia platform, it provides outstanding speech understanding, natural sound quality, and seamless wireless connectivity for people with mild to profound hearing loss.
Powered by 17 WARP™ sound processing channels, the Nexia 961 RIE intelligently adapts to changing listening environments in real time. Premium technologies including 360° All-Around Directionality, Front Focus, Intelligent Focus, Environmental Optimizer II, Noise Tracker II, Wind Guard, and DFS Ultra III feedback cancellation work together to enhance speech while minimizing unwanted background noise.
The hearing aid supports M&RIE (Microphone & Receiver-In-Ear) technology, allowing sound to be captured naturally inside the ear canal for improved sound localization and a more realistic listening experience. Available with MM, LP, MP, HP, and UP receivers, it accommodates a wide range of hearing losses from mild to profound. Powered by a size 312 zinc-air battery, it offers dependable all-day performance with quick battery replacement.
With Bluetooth® LE Audio and Auracast™ broadcast audio support, the Nexia 961 RIE delivers next-generation wireless streaming from compatible iPhone®, Android™, televisions, computers, and future public audio systems. Users can stream phone calls, music, podcasts, and TV audio directly while controlling hearing aid settings through the ReSound Smart 3D™ App and receiving remote programming with ReSound Assist Live.
